Our story – Success based on a system
In 1999 he opened the first Lidl store in Greece. Since then we have developed into a stable value in the Greek retail trade and we are closely connected with the local economy. Today Lidl Hellas operates 229 stores and 5 logistics centers and employs a total of more than 6500 employees in Greece.

As early as the 1930s, when we started as a food wholesale company in Germany, we had the clear goal of offering quality and fresh products at the best possible price.

We are proud to be a discount store. In addition to the fact that the shopping experience in Lidl stores is simple, easy and enjoyable, the cooperation with partners and suppliers is characterized by transparency. Our policy of success is based on a standard store system – but always with a sense of responsibility towards our partners and the environment.
